  1. Authenticity is vital. Be yourself.- Share what you know from your own experience...from your own magic!  Authenticity is vulnerability. When you’re vulnerable with your student, your heart is open and they receive your message much clearer , deeper and genuinely . Speak your truth. You will magnetize to you the students who NEED your message for their own healing and growth.

  2. Even as a teacher, you are always the student.- Give & receive. Yes this means you are always a student of your own Yoga practice but in another sense….We are all mirrors of each other whom we come into contact with. Be open to the lessons you can receive from your students mirroring back the qualities that you like in yourself, or that you still need to heal from. Can you appreciate that when you are open the universe will provide you the exact people you need in your life? Listen and observe as much as you speak and guide others.

  3. Respect the responsibility. -Lead by example. This doesn’t mean you or any teacher has to be held to the highest of standards or put on a pedestal because that would be toxic culture behavior and creates inequality. Yoga teachers are also navigating the human experience. What I mean is….Love yourself first. Take care of yourself. Show up for yourself. Appreciate & share your journey. Remind others why you do what you do. Teach from your heart. Focus on the service you are providing for others. How can you GROW, so that you can SERVE? When you choose to do this deep inspirational work, understand that there is always someone watching , someone you may be inspiring and have no clue what impact you’re making on their life… . The positive effects you might have another’s life is well worth continuing to show others that you will continue to show up for yourself and believe in your own work.

Drop me a ❤️ if this resonates with you.
